Maintain · Fix · Develop

WordPress support for the website you rely on.

Keep your website or WooCommerce store moving with an agreed plan for maintenance, fixes and development. We begin with its current condition, the functions your business depends on and clear responsibilities.

The starting point

First, understand what is already there.

A company website, a store and a site with a long change list need different support. We review the environment and backups, identify the important user journeys and separate urgent work, regular maintenance and larger improvements.

A review or an organised handover

For a site whose condition needs to be understood: a backup and environment review, updates and security checks, an issue list and a plan for the next stage. We can assess a site built by another provider.

Ongoing support and development

Agreed monitoring, updates, backup checks and a channel for support requests. Larger functions and integrations are estimated separately, with testing and release stages suited to the website.

The agreed work

Support with responsibilities written down

  1. Hours and request handling

The support hours, contact channel, prioritisation rules and any agreed allocation of work are recorded in the proposal.

  2. Updates and critical functions

Compatibility and risk are reviewed before changes. A backup and the agreed post-update tests form part of the update procedure.

  3. Hosting, backups and licences

We identify who is responsible for the server, backup frequency and restoration checks, together with account owners and renewal dates.

  4. Fixes and planned development

Requests are organised by priority. Larger tasks, urgent work or work outside the agreement require a separate estimate and approval.

A response time is the time to acknowledge and start assessing a request within agreed support hours. A resolution depends on diagnosis, risk and other providers. The support terms, included work and additional costs are agreed for your website.

From conversation to delivery

Three stages. A clear next step.

  1. Describe the need

Send the public website address, the symptoms and the business priority. We can begin the conversation without passwords.

  2. Review and agree responsibilities

We arrange a secure access channel, establish roles and backups, then review the environment and critical functions.

  3. Maintain and improve

We work through the agreed priorities, test changes before release and report the maintenance and development completed.

Work and context

See the websites behind our development work.

Our portfolio shows the variety of websites we implement. The support plan for an existing site starts with a separate review of its condition and needs.

Before we begin

Questions worth asking.

Still have a question? Tell us about your situation.

Ask our team
Can you take over a site built by someone else?

Yes. We begin with a review and backup, check available licences and record the risks. That review informs the scope; we do not assume the website has to be rebuilt.

How quickly will an issue be resolved?

Support hours and response rules are set in the proposal. A response means acknowledgement and the start of assessment. The time needed to resolve the problem depends on its cause, the work required and any external-provider dependencies.

Does support include hosting and every additional task?

Hosting responsibility is stated separately. The agreement defines the included tasks or allocation; larger functions and work beyond that scope are estimated before implementation. We explain additional costs before starting the extra work.

What should I send in the first enquiry?

The website address, what is going wrong and which functions matter most to your business are enough to begin. Administrator, hosting and third-party access are transferred through an agreed secure channel after collaboration is arranged.

Your next project

What does your website need next?

Send its address and describe the issue or change you have in mind. We will discuss a review, a focused fix or an ongoing support plan around the website you already have.
